Win7 x64 Wrong Image Size

Hi all!
I hope somebody can help me with the following problem:
Ive got this pc HP DC8100 Elite CMT, ive uploaded an win7 x64 image without any problems (multiple partitions, single disk). FOG version: 0.32, Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, all is up to date…
But after Ive installed one program-update (Novell Client), it shows me an wrong image size while uploading (circa 130gb).
The 250gb HDD has got 2 partitions: 2gb windows boot partition and the standart-partition
(space used: circa 40gb), ive deleted the HP partition.
Ive imaged Win7x32 and WinXPx32 without any problems with the DC8100 from HP.Ive searched in multiple forums and threads but i cant find an working solution…
Ive also tried to defrag the pc directly bevor uploading an image… -> not working for me…Please help me.

Did you remove the extended partition? From “Deploy Debug” run & post the results here: [B]fdisk -l[/B]

I deleted only the HP partition.

In my last post you can see the following warning:

Ive searched in the internet, but the only response that Ive found is that it can be ignored…PLS help…

Are you using ‘Single Partition (Re-sizable)’ as your Image Type?
Try this:
[LIST=1]
[]Remove all partitions
[]Make a fresh Windows install
[]Sysprep
[]Upload image as ‘Multi-Partition, Single Disk’
[*]Redeploy
[/LIST]

As written in the first post we are using ‘multiple partitions, single disk’, we removed all other partitions and tried again redeploying the machine.
As written it worked good and without problems until we updated the Novell Client, but how could it be, that the simple process of updating a software increases the image size from ~40GB to ~120GB?
We also tried to use defrag and chkdsk to solve the problem but it is still present.
I can’t understand why it is so complicated to clone a system with the same infrastructure (DC8100 from HP) and same settings.
Sadly the thread postet by Blackout has nothing to do with our problem or can’t even give us a hint how to solve it
Hope someone can help.

Defrag before uploading and this will be fixed (as long as all data can be moved to the front of the disk)

Your problem looks like a failing hard drive.

I don’t think so, because it was a factory new PC and we tested it on more than that one machine. The error postet in [url]http://fogproject.org/forum/threads/fog-converts-hdd-in-raw-format.132/[/url] appears after I deleted the 100mb-Windows-Recovery/Boot-Partition. And I tried that only because the image size was wrong.
