    I have Unbuntu 10.0.4 , Fog 1.2.0 and Dell Optiplex 390 machines.
When the DHCP engages the TFTP load, I get some machines that load the menu fine but some machines are getting this error :
    http://prntscr.com/7s6nu1

The log for DHCP shows this:
    http://prntscr.com/7s6fzb

Finally, the dhcp.conf file looks like:
    http://prntscr.com/7s6p7c

Any clue on this or assistance? Much appreciated in advance…

I think you might be out of IP leases… you only have a range of 50 specified…

also, try changing your bootfile to undionly.kkpxe and see what happens. I have some Optiplex 380s at home that boot just fine with undionly.kkpxe (I run a fog server at home and work).

I’ve done that before, but for mine it wouldn’t even get to the “iPXE initializing…” and just say
        DHCP…
no DHCP or proxyDHCP offers received. Exiting
or something along that lines because the DHCP server wouldn’t give the client the information in option 66/67 without giving it an IP

@Wayne-Workman Just to confirm - where do I change the bootfile – is that in the HTTP Fog administrator interface or somewhere in a config file on ubuntu? Thx 😉

@Lasticko http://prntscr.com/7s6p7c see where it says “filename”, change it from undionly.kpxe to undionly.kkpxe
