Updated to svn 2944 from 2933 when I attempt to register a host it errors out with a message of unable to register for the following reason with no text after it then proceeds to do the inventory and then trys to send and gets stuck there. I also have reports of images not being pushed either and will test that in a bit as soon as a machine becomes available.

Ubuntu 12.04
apache error log as follows.

Starting Debian / Ubuntu / Kubuntu / Edubuntu Installtion.

#####################################################################

FOG now has everything it needs to setup your server, but please
understand that this script will overwrite any setting you may
have setup for services like DHCP, apache, pxe, tftp, and NFS.

It is not recommended that you install this on a production system
as this script modifies many of your system settings.

This script should be run by the root user on Redhat or with sudo on Ubuntu.

** Notice ** Redhat users will need to disable SELinux and iptables in
order to use FOG
Please see our wiki for more information at http://www.fogproject.org/wiki

Here are the settings FOG will use:
Base Linux: Debian
Detected Linux Distribution: Ubuntu
Installation Type: Normal Server
Server IP Address: 10.200.10.150
DHCP router Address:
DHCP DNS Address: 10.200.10.33
Interface: bond0
Using FOG DHCP: 0
Internationalization: 1
Image Storage Location: /images
Donate: 0

DHCP will NOT be setup but you must setup your
current DHCP server to use FOG for PXE services.

On a Linux DHCP server you must set:
next-server

On a Windows DHCP server you must set:
option 066 & 067

Option 066 is the IP of the FOG Server: (e.g. 10.200.10.150)
Option 067 is the undionly.kpxe file: (e.g. undionly.kpxe)

I’m going to guess this isn’t necessarily on All hosts, but rather just this particular host?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

I’ve tested 3 hosts for registration one was already registered and I deleted the record as a test all show the same issue. It does appear to be all hosts.

Here is a video of the boot process on a image download. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24177483/VIDEO0023.mp4
Looks like it gets all the way to sending inventory and than gets a blank screen with a cursor at the bottom left corner.

I know exactly what the issue is. Fix coming shortly.

In the mean time, can you downgrade your kernel using the kernel update feature. We’re currently at 3.18.4, and this is the bad kernel.

You can select any other, I’m about to fix 3.18.4, the prior was 3.18.3 (i’d recommend both just in case)

Are you sure you’re copying the right files. Icon is broken, but should work on the published link now.

bzImage should be the x86_64 kernel
bzImage32 should be the x86 kernel
