FOG 1.2.0 : Multicast won't work
-
Hi,
I tried to use multicast without success.
Above the configuration :
- FoG server system on virtual debian server on ESXi (Blade HP + EMC2 Fiber Storage)
- FoG server data (images) on EMC2 storage via NFS
>> The Fiber and NFS storage are provide by the same EMC2, it’s hybrid (SAN/NAS).
I have tried two storage mode :
Mount NFS storage on fog server and declare it on the web interface
Declare an external NFS storage on the web interfaceIn these configurations there is no problem to download/deploy (unicast), but for multicast :
In the first configuration I have an error on the client : Can’t mount /…/…/ on /images
In the second configuration I have partclone wich freeze on : Starting to restore image (-) to device (/dev/sda1)Any idea ?

Hi,
Thank’s for reply. Now it’s ok in the multicast.log, but parclone stay on Starting to restore image (-) to device (/dev/sda1).
I don’t understand why in multicast the machine contact the storage node.
In my EMC2 nas, I need to create a fog user with the same uid than the fog server ?
