I have long been a critic of the pace in the development of FOG. Of course it makes me ecstatic to see, just as I get ready for a summer of Fogging, that there is a new release. I have not installed or even downloaded the latest version yet, but I am sure it will rock, after getting used to the changes.

I was planning on a overhaul of the infrastructure that I use to run FOG. I am using a distributed system with three local FOG installs in each of three building. I create images and control everything from the master install in my office. Will this still work with 1.0x or are there changes I need to worry about?

That should work, but definitely read the wiki article on how to upgrade.
