Edit the Quick image password in FOG 1.0.1

Hello!
I been searching far and wide after the password for the Quick Image. I know it’s the default, but I wish to remove it completly to speed up the processes.
I can’t seem to find what the Wiki say, so I guess it’s obsolete with FOG 1.0.1.

The default fog username and password are the same as what your fog web gui login is. We implemented this for security reasons, otherwise anybody could image any registered system.
If you want users to be able to “quick” image, I’d recommend just creating a new user and share that username and password to the users.

Ah okey, that explains it. But is it possible to bypass this protection? We have a locked office where we image all the computers, so normal users can’t do it manually.

I’d also been interested in an answer to this. We had the bypass saving us loads of time running fog 0.29 but having upgraded to 1.2.0 I can’t get it to work. Have tried editing the init files in /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe as similar to the previous install but to no luck

the easiest way to create an insecure quick login for this would be to just create a user with a single character username and password
for this you will need to change the FOG_USER_MINPASSLENGTH in fog settings>user management
