So i have been wracking my brain for about 70 to 80 hours trying to get my client PC to connect to the TFTP server. I have searched the forums and read countless fix’s for this error but have not been able to come up with a solution.

Here is my current configuration I am running:
ESXI 5.1
My Virtual Machine is using VMXNET3
Running Ubuntu 12.04 ( I have also tried Ubuntu 10.04, 13.04, 13.10, 14.04; Fedora 20, 14; Kubuntu 12.04)
Fog 0.32
DHCP/Firewall - Meraki
My IP address scheme is 192.168.X.X

Here is a list of what I have done to try and resolve this issue.

1. Changed all passwords in fog after using fogcrypt to create the password. Also in Config.php
2. Disabled firewall in linux
3. Added option 66 and 67 to my dhcp server.
4. Changed IP to TFTP server in tftpd-hpa file.
5. I have confirmed that the tftp server is running ( issue with ubuntu 12.04 ).

Any help would be greatly appreciated and Thanks in advance.
sudo gedit /etc/selinux/config
verify that selinux is actually disabled.

FOG Server OS: CentOS 7
FOG Version: FOG 1.2.0

When I run a netstat -ntl it doesn’t show that it is listening for port 69.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

That shows ever port that it is listening for, but port 69 is not listed. How do I get it to start listening for port 69?

Is this system acting as dhcp or do you have a dedicated dhcp server?

No we are using a meraki as our dhcp server. And I have 66 and 67 setup. Now I am confused on what to put for 670 pxelinux.0 or undionly.kpxe ?

If you’re running 0.32 and earlier, 67 should be pxelinux.0, if you’re running 1.0.0 and forward it should be undionly.kpxe

Is meraki allowing port 69 UDP/TCP internally?
