Hi all! now that its summer break I’m going to be updating to the new version of FOG. I have a few questions i cant seem to find clear answer for.

Currently i am running fog .32 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

should i upgrade Ubuntu 10.04 to 14.04 LTS then update FOG to version 1.1

Or should I update FOG to 1.1 then upgrade Ubuntu OS to 14.04LTS?

Is there a version of Ubuntu other then 14.04LTS that works best with FOG 1.1?

Lastly i wanted to ask if i should upgrade my Ubuntu installation all the way from 10.04 to 14.04 ( using the update application) or if i will need to do a clean Ubuntu 14.04 install

    Thanks every one!

so far, every other version of Ubuntu seems to be better then 14.04 with FOG

I recommend a new install, not an upgrade.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but I think this is a related question:

Running Fog 0.32 - Can update directly to Fog 1.1.1 (using steps from the wiki) or should I update to 1.0.0 first, then to 1.1.1?

Not recommended, but you can technically upgrade straight to 1.1.1.

you can update right to 1.1.1
make sure you have backups before you try
