Can you skip sysprep images

Hi All,

Running sysprep is a nightmare, so my question is as follows i guess, if i have setup the fog server can i do a image dump of a network pc using clonezilla and upload it, would this work still or would i need to still do a sys prep on the machine?

why would you need clonezilla?

you don’t have to sysprep. but a better issue might be why is running sysprep a ‘nightmare’?

What makes you think you need to use sysprep? There was a period of time that the BETA svn required sysprep of all images, but that was fixed before release. You can use sysprep, or not, either way the imaging process seems to work anyway.
