This is my first attempt at using FOG. I’m attempting to image a Dell Optiplex 3020 and receive an erroresas2r: driver will not be loaded because no ATTO.

I found articles that mention installing a newer kernel and when I attempt to install using the FOG console I get “download completed! Moving file to TFTP server…” and the progress circle just spins and never finishes.

I tried two different kernels and also tried using different kernel names.

I WISH PEOPLE WOULD READ THE FORUMS FOR THIS ERROR MESSAGE BEFORE POSTING A THREAD.

First, the “error: esas2: driver will not be loaded because no atto is NOT an error to be worried about unless you have this driver on a system.”

Second, The second issue you’re reporting is well known about and should be fixed in svn trunk.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG! Get in contact with me (chat bubble in the top right corner) if you want to join in.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG

that error is a non-issue. it’s just telling you it can’t load a driver for a device that i happen to know isn’t on that computer. does it not continue and do what it’s supposed to if you let it continue?
