TFTP open Timeout
-
Hello Fog Nation!
I recently built an Ubuntu 14.04 LTS desktop and installed FOG 1.0.1. I can log into FOG and navigate thru the GUI without issue. The problem is when I PXE boot a Dell Optiplex 3020 desktop. I can get to the FOG boot menu via PXE and almost instantly there is a series of messages that say, “Unknown main item tag 0x0.” I downloaded and installed UBUNTU updates and now I get a PXE-32: TFTP open Timeout error. Then the desktop just hangs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was able to start the TFTP service with
sudo restart tftpd-hpa
however, now I get the following garble on my screen after I PXE boot (see screenshot.) It hangs for about 3-5 minutes then I get a message “Reopening Network Devices…” which after about another five minutes then goes to the next screen (see 2nd screenshot.) I thought it was an issue with the Image Type, but this does not seem to be the case. Any help would be appreciated!
