    Unable to login to my fog management page after installing dev branch get error 500 when I accept cert. Running ubuntu 22.04

      @dyacishyn Which Linux OS and FOG version did you Run before updating? Please post what you find in the Apache and PHP logs (see my signature) as well as the output from running the command dpkg -l | grep php on your FOG server console (e.g. via SSH).

      Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

          @dyacishyn Please post what you find in the mentioned logs. If I had to guess I would think you did not install the latest dev-branch but an earlier version that is lacking PHP 8 support. But I might be wrong.

              apt --purge remove php-common
apt install php-common php-mysql php-cli

              May I please ask you to upload the full installer logs to the forums? You find those in the subdirectory where you tun the installer script (fogproject/bin/error_logs/).

              Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

                  No, can be pretty much anywhere, except not in /var/www and some other uncommon places.

                  Some people have it in /opt others in /root or /home…

                  Did the mentioned commands fix the issue for you?

                    removing php-common partially fixed the issue i moved the installer to the /opt directory reran ./foginstall.sh and was able to access the site.
