    Hello,
Is there any chance to connect users to specific images in FOG?

For example we have created three images in FOG: Win10, Win7 and Ubuntu.
Also we want to have 3 users: admin (main, default user), profesor1 and profesor2.

-> admin (main user) see all images and can deploy every image on every machine
-> profesor1 should see only Win10 and Win7 and should have permissions for deploying only that images
-> profesor2 should see only Ubuntu image and should have permission for deploying only that one image - Ubuntu

I saw some articles on the forum that FOG has limited options for users, but maybe there is some connection in database for enabling/disabling visibility of specific images for specific users?

    Thanks for help!

@daarnalthe FOG doesn’t have that level of security and access control. In FOG you are either an admin or not. You can either see everything or not. By using the iPXE deploy menu you can limit what is displayed in that menu to all images or the defined image to that target computer. This way if professor wants to reload a computer they don’t have to access the fog menu only the ipxe menu deploy image on that target computer.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!
