@fabritrento enable logging gives these lines:

          Jun 27 12:12:44 joana in.tftpd[43610]: RRQ from 192.168.2.41 filename undionly.pxe
          Jun 27 12:13:25 joana in.tftpd[43643]: RRQ from 192.168.2.41 filename undionly.pxe

@fabritrento said in fog server installed but clients hangs on tftp exiting with a timout:

            undionly.pxe

I don’t have access to a fog server at the moment but I noticed 2 things.

            1. for bios boot computers the file is undionly.kpxe, I don’t know if undionly.pxe exists.
            2. if you are booting a uefi computer (most common these days) the boot file is ipxe.efi or snp.efi. A uefi computer will not accept undionly.kpxe boot file. Also for uefi computer make sure secure boot is disabled to pxe boot into fog.

@george1421 using ipxe.efi don’t work. the problem is that the client don’t transfer the file via tftp, giving a timeout.
using a tftp windows client after disabling windows firewall the system transfers the file.
