The installation of fog project creates a new user on the ubuntu system? I don’t remember the name of that user either “fogserver” or “fogproject” as the username. What do we use that for and how should we access through this user? thanks

@zfeng This user is created as a service account to be used by FOG itself only. We suggest you don’t use it, don’t change its password, don’t mess with it at all. Just leave it as is.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG

@sebastian-roth Only to add onto what Sebastian posted, while the user name is consistent the password created for this account is random for each install of the FOG server. Only the FOG install program and the configuration on that FOG server know the password that has been created. That password for the fogproject user account is never transmitted outside of the that specific fog server.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!
