@lsathya I am pretty sure we had other users with a similar issue in that network interface card. Please search the forum for “realtek 8111”.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@lsathya Is the firmware up to date on these lenovos? There is no reason for iPXE to stop moving the file from the fog server partway. Its either the hardware or your network infrastructure. It appears the file bzImage or init.xz being moved causes the problem.

            Do other models boot successfully?

@lsathya ok that is good then. We know the fog server and network is ok.

Did you check to see if the latest firmware update is on this computer?

Something I didn’t ask before, but does this computer have a built in ethernet adapter or is this a usb dongle? It shouldn’t matter but the question is why is this model different from the others you use?

                  Have you tried different iPXE binaries (ipxe.efi, snp.efi, snponly.efi, intel.efi, …)?

@lsathya I really think there is something up/wrong with this hardware that causes iPXE to hang.

We do have a fall back method to get these computers to image without pxe booting. You will lose some capabilities, but you will be able to image them. Read through this article. https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/7727/building-usb-booting-fos-image Because of the way the forum works the first part is at the top of the thread and the subsequent parts are at the end of the thread. Read through the tutorial and understand what you need to do and the caveats by creating a USB Boot image for FOS Linux.

Also look in the FOG Forum chat bubble at the top for a few more hints.
