i was trying to capture my first image on the fog server and i got the message "udevd [3396] failed to execute ‘/lib/udev/${exec_prefix}/bin/udevadm’ ‘${exec_prefix}/bin/udevadm trigger -s block -p ID_BTRFS_READY=0’ : No such file or directory "
any ideas on how to solve this? -
@nw22 We added BTRFS support about a year back but I don’t think many people have tested it thoroughly. Take a look at the discussion here: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/15159/btrfs-postdownloadscript
I would think the error message can be ignored but I am not sure.
Is this the last message you see? Please take a picture of the screen and post that here.

@sebastian-roth i forgot to mention the other error message whoops. “No resizable partitions found (/bin/fog.upload)” this was shown after the fact. So if the first error can be ignored this is probably the issue. Although I’m clueless on how to solve this.

@nw22 NEVERMIND I FOUND THE PROBLEM, I HAD THE IMAGE SET TO RESIZABLE AND CHANGED IT AND NOW ITS WORKING
-
@nw22 Good you got this solved by switching to non-resizable image type. Would you still tell us what kind of OS and setup you have?
I am not sure resize on BTRFS actually works and we might get some people to look into this if anyone is keen to get this fixed in case it’s really broken.

@sebastian-roth i have it set up on an ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS server
it was imaging a drive with openSUSE leap 15.3 i think -
@nw22 I forgot to ask which version of FOG do you use? Specifically which version of the FOS inits (when it boots up it prints the version just below the ASCII art FOG logo)?
Would be great if you could do some testing when we do find and fix stuff. Are you available for testing?
