@lerne-nie-aus said in Proxy Setting for Hosts:
proxy setting for Host
What exactly do you mean by this? Which part/software of the host should use the proxy? Are we talking about a standard web proxy?

@sebastian-roth thanks for reply.
yes it is just a Web Proxy for internet.
I want the host get also the proxysetting with deployment.
But i dont know who i can set it up. -
@lerne-nie-aus What is the target OS that you want to apply the proxy settings to?
FOG has a system called post install script, which is a bash script that can run on the target computer after the image is installed. You can use that function to have limited access to the target computer’s hard drive after deployment.

@george1421 it is Win10, which i deploy on target clients.
I thougt, maybe it could be easiert as a script:)
-
@lerne-nie-aus Well, just configure the proxy before you capture the image. Then it will be set on all systems you deploy.
-
@sebastian-roth Ok, or like that:)
-
@lerne-nie-aus Well you have 1 big issue and a few small issues.
The big issue is that the OS that clone’s the disks is linux based so it can’t directly interact with the target windows OS.
With that said, the proxy settings for Windows are typically deployed via Windows GPO policy.
The proxy settings are user specific, so the values are stored in HKCU (current user) and not in a system location (HKLM).
