Does it only happen with this model? Which version of FOG do you use?
Do you have a dumb mini switch at hand to connect between the building switch and your laptop? If it’s a spanning tree issue that would go away with the mini switch in between.

@sebastian-roth Thanks for replying.
yes it happen only to this model when multicasting image . i am using fog project 1.5.9 . the switch i have is a managed switch with no vlan configured

@jonathanho92 So we need to rule out a few things.
Is this a multicast only issue or do you get this with both unicast as well as multicast imaging.
The most common cause of this issue is that you have standard STP enabled on your building switch, where RSTP or one of the fast protocols are more appropriate for fog imaging. Inserting a cheap unmanaged switch between the building switch and the target computer is a quick check to see if its a STP issues or possibly GreenEthernet.

@george1421 this happen only when multicast we have no problem with unicast

I don’t think this is the case. The bootup for both multicast and unicast are exactly the same at this early stage.
I guess you are using different devices when multicasting?! Use the exact same physical for unicast and I’d be very sure you see the same error.
