Running Fog 1.5.8 on Ubuntu 16.04LTS

We just received several Lenovo T14’s and I’m unable to Pxe boot them. We are able to image earlier models (T460,T470,T480,T490 series) without any problem. During Pxe boot it gives me an error “No network interfaces found, your kernel is most probably missing the correct driver!” Looking at a similar issue it appears I may need to update the kernel. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!
      Cheers,
      John

Upgrade your FOS Linux kernel to 5.6.x or later. You can do this via the web gui FOG Settings -> Kernel.

Do I need to restart the VM as well or just do the update in the web gui? I’m having the same issue with the T14’s.

Disregard…restarting the VM worked after the kernel update.

@jbutler07 There is no need to reboot the VM. As soon as the new kernel is in place you can restart the host machine and it will pull and use that new kernel.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)
