Has anyone done the windows 10 home edition picture?
-
I get an error at the beginning of creation…

@Marsup74 I have not personally deployed a win 10 home image. You will need to describe exactly where the error is at. A clear picture of the error taken with a mobile phone will give us at least the context of where the error is.

I am sorry to answer you now. From now on I will try to answer quickly…

@Marsup74 On your fog server, will you run this command
sudo showmount -e 127.0.0.1
and post the results. Its saying the target computer can’t connect to the NFS share on your fog server. Is this the first image capture on this fog server?
Your FOG server is at the IP address of 192.168.18.1?

I apologize for the misrepresentation. This is specifically the message. That photo was about a badly mounted hard drive. This is the right picture. Images from other systems can be easily created

@Marsup74 Ok this is a different issue. The error message is a bit strange but what this is saying is the windows was shutdown incorrectly for image capture.
You have 3 options.
- Let sysprep power off the computer before you capture it.
- Use
shutdown -s -t 0
to power off the computer correctly. - Turn off fast startup in the power settings.
To find out more about this issue google “windows dirty bit shutdown” Using the shutdown button in windows before image capture will generate this error message because windows “shutdown” is actually an enhanced sleep state and not a power off.

Thank you so much for your reply. I didn’t think the solution would be so easy. Especially that with other versions of the system the problem did not appear. Thank you very much!
