Active Directory (Groups) settings lose settings when a new PC joins the group through host registration
-
To replicate.
In a group set your active directory settings for the group. (Needs to have at least one PC in the group in order to keep any settings)
Then boot up a PC and do a host registration. When picking if you want to join a group, select yes then join the group with the active directory settings.
Now check the Fog control panel for that group --> active directory.
You will see the settings are either wiped or incorrect. This is a huge problem, if I join computers to the group while I register them they will not join the AD at all as its wrong or empty.
It seems that the group settings do not override the PC settings sometimes and just take the PC’s settings randomly.
Any ideas would be extremely helpful!

@spardo Search the forums for “persistent groups”. As far as I get it you expect something from FOG that does not exist in the official version.

Thank you very much, I enabled plugins in my Fog Settings and installed it there, I appreciate that!
