    FOG Client Error: Could not get security token

      Hey

      I’m trying to install the FOG Client on an external device. I’ve opened port 80 on our firewall and the cert etc. can be retrieved. However, when the client is trying to connect to the server, the error “Authentication Error: Could not get security token” appears in the log file. I’ve already reset the encryption data.

        This error is most probably due to your server being setup with HTTPS but the client is not. In the fog-client version 0.11.16 (that was released with FOG 1.5.7) the installer didn’t have the option to enable HTTPS in the setup. You can manually edit C:\Program Files (x86)\FOG\settings.json and set HTTPS to 1 (enable). Or you can reinstall using the latest fog-client release 0.11.19.

        Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)
