DHCP issues
-
Hi,
I hope you can help me with this… FOG Installed on Ubuntu 16.04, no DHCP server from FOG (DHCP server from my network), when booting a box (physical or virtual), I can get an IP booting by PXE and reach the FOG server, but when selected the option to register/inventorise, it comes back with this error:
At first I thought the STP protocol on the switches wouldn’t be enable as “fast”, but then if it was the case, it wouldn’t reach the FOG server and it would time out eventually.
Any thoughts?
Cheers in advance!

@nelsonnc Sounds a bit like STP issue to me as well. The quickest way to check is to connect a dumb mini switch between that client and your building switch. See if that makes a difference.
How do you know the client can reach the FOG server? When it’s booted to it’s OS from disk, can you open that exact URL in the browser on that client? http://dlk.fog.local/fog//index.php (double slash is not an issue)
