Hi there. I know this topic is old, but I could use some assistance with the answer that you provided @NatLanis .
I’m a new user, but my company has been using FOG to deploy images for years and this is the first time that I ever encountered the same error that @NatLanis is experiencing. No body in my company is available to help me at the moment, so I turned here. Please look at the image below:

I’m not familiar with adding kernel arguments, so please bare with me.

      Thanks in advance!

@WhiteNovaKnight Set acpi=off under kernel parameters (or arguments) either on the host definition or under the General settings of FOG.

It’s just a field on the WebUI

@Quazz Thank you for the assistance. Our IT department seems to think its on the PC end since FOG is working with our other PCs. I’ll post an update if we find a way around it.

@WhiteNovaKnight Have you tried the kernel parameter?

Hey, I’m having this same issue with a Lenovo ThinkCentre 920z. I get to the FOG screen and select quick registration and inventory but end up with ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND…

I tried entering noapci as well as acpi=off but this has not solved the problem.

Has anyone been able to figure this out finally??

@greezy Other than seeing the acpi errors, is it stopping you from imaging?

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

@greezy said in problem ACPI error:

                  ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND

What’s between brackets after AE_NOT_FOUND? (screenshot would be helpful)

Also… does it capture/deploy properly regardless of these errors?

FOG version would be nice to know too.

I went to the FOG settings and modified it from there. It seemed to get rid of the ACPI error, but I still am having a IP address not found. Here is a screenshot of where I found it.

I’m going to isolate the PC and the FOG server from the current network and try it on a regular home router to see if I can solve the DHCP issue. I will update when I find more answers.
