Hello , i want to install the FOG client software on a Windows 10 in a virtual machine. I get every time the next error message. See the picturefog1.png.
I can not access the logging files.
I have tryed to install it via a github - powershell and I tryed to recreate the certificats on my server.
The server I use for the fog is Ubuntu18.04 server LTS.

Hi , sorry for my late reply it was a very busy weekend but i found my fault. I entered the wrong IP / hostname when the installer was running. Thankyou for the help @Sebastian-Roth.

@SPaceSkillz1 Which version of Windows 10 do you exactly have? Please run the command (Win+r) winver and post a picture of that here.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@SPaceSkillz1 I have had a look at the code to see why it might fail with this message and had the idea that maybe this is not an error specific to Windows 10 in your case. Do you have another client (Win 7 or whatever) you could test installing the fog-client software as well?

When running the installer, what IP/hostname do you set? The installer defaults to fogserver but this is usually not the name a FOG server is reachable in most networks. Make sure you put in the right IP!
