I followed the guide here:
http://fogproject.org/forum/threads/how-to-install-fog-on-ubuntu.5/

When I get to step 6 - assigning image to host - I have no hosts found when I click on the show all hosts link. What step did I miss? Anyone know what might be the problem?

Also, for giggles, I looked over this guide:
http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Ubuntu_10.04

And when I try to PXE boot, it thinks really hard about a TFTP, but nothing ever happens…

This is a fresh install, so I can start over if needed, but it went pretty smooth and standard up until now.

Thoughts/help? Thanks in advance.

Did you register a PC to FOG first? This can be done from the PXE menu, or from the web interface. This will need to be done so you can assign the image to the specific host.

If you get TFTP problems on Ubuntu, you just need to restart the service, and everything should start working again sudo service tftpd-hap restart

not to nit pick but the command is

sudo service tftpd-hpa restart

this gave me a fit for a bit 🙂
