PXE cannot connect to new Lenovo Laptop

PXE runs, then immediately dumps off to next boot-up device. I use FOG for imagine with literally dozens of other vendors, just not this laptop. Any ideas?

@Jim-Holcomb What is serving DHCP in your network. Is it the FOG server or did you configure your existing DHCP to serve DHCP/PXE?

To me this sounds like you only have legacy BIOS PXE setup (undionly.kpxe) but the new Lenovo Laptop is UEFI only.

Just guessing here. Could be anything else really. You might want to take a 60fps video (many smartphones can do this), then step through it and see if you can find an error message on screen. For video capturing rest the camera on a pile of books in front of the screen to get a steady picture.

Sebastian, you could be right here. First, DHCP is handed by existing network DHCP. Yes I was using undionly as all the other hardware I was using was legacy. Where would I find and copy the bootfile for these new lenovo laptops to?

@Jim-Holcomb FOG has a selection of legacy BIOS and UEFI boot files available. They are all hosted in /tftpboot on your FOG server. If you use FOG as TFTP server then you simply need to specify the right boot file in your external DHCP server. If you use an external TFTP server as well just copy the right files from /tftpboot to that. For UEFI machines I’d suggest using ipxe.efi as boot file.
