How to sysprep and add drivers for dell desktops
-
I’ve been able to install FOG and deploy images (win7), however none of the drivers are installed on the PC receiving the win7 image. How do I make specific drivers automatically install during image capture and deployment? Maybe it’s because I didn’t create an answer / unattended file? Not sure what it would be for Windows 7 64bit.
I’m running the latest FOG version on Kubuntu 16.x.
Thanks!

This has been asked a lot on the forums, just search for ‘drivers’.

I’ve done this for over a week, to no avail. I’m somewhat new when it comes to linux, but I have followed steps in several driver posts.
I think the issue I’m having is with the unattend.xml file for Windows 7.

@fettforce Can you post a scrubbed/sanitized copy of your unattend.xml file? Please use the code-block tool.

This is the embarrassing part… I don’t have a Windows 7 unattend.xml file, nor do I know how to create one or where to place it. Sorry, don’t bash too hard on me.
Edit: I’ve created one, but I’m positive it’s not correct, and again I don’t know where to place it. I’ve also done a ton of research on this. Submitting a post on any forum is my last resort.
