        What version of FOG and what version of FOG/FOS kernel are you using?

        HINT: The latest is not helpful.

            Note: A snarky sounding response is not intended here…

            So you are running the latest mobile hardware (spring 2018), probably running in uefi mode, on a 6 year old version of FOG and a 4 year old 32 bit kernel and are having issues? Am I surprised, not really.

            If you don’t want to move from FOG 1.2.0, you could try to download the 4.15.2 32 bit kernel from here: https://fogproject.org/kernels/ and then rename the file to bzImage (remember that fog 1.2.0 only supports 32 bit kernels) Make sure you make a backup of the original FOG kernel in case the newer versions don’t work. The boot kernels are in /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe directory. Check the path since the path to fog/service may have changed since 1.2.0.

            Please realize that FOG 1.2.0 doesn’t support NVMe disks, UEFI firmware, Windows 10, or GPT style disks. FOG 1.2.0 is REALLY 6 years ago tech. It will work for Win7 and below but you will still run into issues with current hardware. Its probably best of you want to move away from fog 1.2.0 that you spin up a second (new) fog server to test things before you switch over.

              If you’re totally new to fog, how adverse are you to updating to a later version? 1.2.0 was a good version, but it’s since past its prime.

              As @george1421 already posted, it’s not surprising that these new machines are not working with the older version of FOG. Mind you 1.2.0 was released July of 2014. We’re in July of 2018, and a lot has changed since then.

              Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

                @tom-elliott

                Thanks I will build a new server with the newest FOG client. ( Never built one so here goes)… ( of course I will keep the old until the new one is tested.)
