@tom-elliott No problem. I am loving the new update. We are slowing migrating sites over from old to new so growing pains 😉

@tom-elliott replaced them and still didn’t work. Anything else you want me to try on our end?

@uwpviolator Try again. My upload earlier didn’t take and I just redid the upload maybe 1 minute ago.

ONe more time! I don’t know what’s going on with my internet, but it kept cutting it out. I just did an md5sum on both sides though and they all appear to be proper now. (Sorry for the back and forth there)

@tom-elliott said in Fixparts Missing? 1.5.4 Win 10:

                  md5sum

That seemed to fix it. Image was uploaded. Had no time to test deploying it. You can mark this as resolved. Thank you for the quick work.

This week I’ve updated to 1.5.4 version, downloading the debian version from fogproject main site, and still is missing the “fixparts” command in the bzimage. I’ve also manually download and correctly placed your init files:

                      https://fogproject.org/inits/init.xz
                      https://fogproject.org/inits/init_32.xz

But this obviously doesn’t solve the problem. Is there a bzimage with fixparts inside which we can download and use? thanks in advance.

PD: New version looks great. No other problems detected.

                        @replicator The scripts found on

                        https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Kernel_Update

solved the problem of getting command fixparts inside bzImage kernel. I’ve thought it only applied to old versions of FOG, but it works fine with latest 1.5.4 version.

I’ve tried every solution that has been posted on the following pages.

                          https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/12059/fixparts-missing-1-5-4-win-10/12
                          https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/12149/can-t-image-attempting-fixparts/13
                          https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Kernel_Update

No matter what I try I cannot get the, “Could not fix partition Layout (runFixparts)” error to go away. I can capture a win 10 image if I select Raw image in image management. But this captures the entire hardrive (500 gb). Is there anything else that I can do to fix this issue?

@gnichols I am sorry but we can’t help if we don’t know more details about your setup and what exactly goes wrong. Most situations/setups are more or less different and we need to know all your details to help. Start by opening a new thread and answering the following questions: FOG version? Has it ever worked for you? When did it break and why (update…)? Can you take a picture of the exact error on your screen and post that too?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)
