Just recently flashed the bios on a hp5800.
Now when we try to boot fog we get the following errors:

ACPI bios error (Bug) excess arguments
acpi bios error (Bug ) failure creating
    acpi error: method parse/execution failed!

    How do we fix this?

What FOG/FOS kernel are you using?
What version of FOG are you using?

@mike-fahey What I want to have you do is roll the FOS/FOG kernel back to 4.15.2 That is the version of the kernel that was delivered with FOG 1.5.2. This is an issue with 4.17.0 and creating GPT disks where it takes 3-5 minutes to create the partition table. We are recommending that even if you have FOG 1.5.4, to roll your kernel back to 4.15.2.

I’m not suggesting that rolling back to 4.15.2 will fix your issue, I want to see if it does address the issue.

The APCI messages are just warning messages and can be ignored. The CPU stall is a different matter all together.

@Mike-Fahey As George said, the ACPI messages should be ok to ignore for now. About the CPU stall, find some posts from other users in the forums:
            https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/8918/fog-boot-to-fos-rcu_sched-self-detected-stall-on-cpu

Not sure if this is the same issue. Please read through the whole post start to end and see if it helps.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG
