I have tried some of the other things that were related to an earlier Kernel update issue. I validated that the password were the same between the TFTP server and the Storage Node. I also verified that the folder path to where the kernel sits is correct as well.

We are behind a proxy server as well. I have verified that the information is in the GUI in the Proxy Settings section.

      Fog: 1.5.2
      bzImage Version: 4.15.2
      bzImage32 Version: 4.15.2

@quinniedid Anything related in the apache error logs (see my signature on where to find those)?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG

@quinniedid Ah, sorry. The error message in the picture was so tiny I didn’t pay enough attention when reading this the first time. It says: “Error: Download Failed: Failed - filesize”. The means it tried to download the kernel image but it was smaller than 1 MB which is a good sign for something being wrong with the download.

Do you have a SSL interception proxy? Please try downloading one of the kernels by hand (browser, wget from the command line) to see if that works out: https://fogproject.org/kernels/

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@Sebastian-Roth Yes we do on the proxy aspect. wget does work as I had already set the proxy for wget on the server. I just didn’t know where the kernels were to download. Thank you for the info. I was able to download the new kernels. Just not sure why I was able to before and not now…

@Sebastian-Roth Sorry. I was able to download them from the GUI before and now I am getting that error but it was a while since I last updated the kernels. So I am not sure which version of fog this issue was introduced. I want to say I was able to download new kernel through the GUI for the GUI look changed…

@quinniedid Well there was a related code change not that long ago: https://github.com/FOGProject/fogproject/commit/4c9b6d026a4b449fa1cb738f2468707fe05ec252#diff-5b7352e50fb59b64eda523fd266f9f96

But from my point of view this shouldn’t change anything if the download is correct. Are you able to check the proxy logs to see if it properly returns the kernel download?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@Sebastian-Roth Yes it does return. I even see a ton of data being downloaded. I have cut off the data towards the end due to the length of the capture.
