    Morning all,

I know this is going to be a really easy fix for someone but iv been looking for hours now and cant seem to fix it.

When i boot from the network i press F12 and get this:

      • test.pxe is not a real file, please follow these instructions: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Modifying_existing_DHCP_server_to_work_with_FOG
      • Is 10.0.2.4 your fog server?
      • What OS is your FOG server running?
      • What version of FOG?

Im quite new to FOG, however, I have a bunch of experience with imaging on SCCM and WDS. Anytime this issue has come up was due to either there not being network drivers for the particular machine or there not being a boot.wim file for WinPE to boot into. My best guess would be to make sure there is a x86 or x64 boot.wim file.

@andythemayor I’m not an expert and maybe someone else can chime in, but FOG doesn’t boot to any type of Microsoft Windows environment. As far as I can tell it is booting to Linux. Where you have “test.pxe” in your DHCP server settings you need to have “undionly.kpxe”. If you read through the wiki that @Wayne-Workman posted it should get you sorted out.

@ravigon I know that it doesn’t actually need a WinPE boot file. I was just trying to give the information that often times when that error comes up, its because the computer might not have the right architecture type for a boot file. So his boot.pxe file might not be a x64 pxe file.

Like i said, i am quite new to FOG, and thought this might point him in the right direction! However, GTX might get some better info from that link that you posted!
