We’ve recently deployed fog in the workplace and it has made a massive difference to the speed and efficiency at which we can deploy laptops to our end users. The only issue we seem to have is that when we add details into a group’s Active Directory tab they are randomly being cleared.

At first I thought it was when I added a new host into the group but after testing that isn’t causing it. Any assistance / guidance would be greatly appreciated.

There is currently a bug in 1.5.0 that is causing this. The problem has been (will be) fixed in 1.5.1. Is this a show stopper for you? FOG 1.5.1 is expected to be released in the next week or so.

@george1421 No, it’s not a showstopper. It’s just very invonvenient as I have to re-enter the info before each image deployment job.

As a relative newbie to Fog will it be straightforward enough to upgrade to 1.5.1?

@kmstuartjackson Hey, just letting you know that 1.5.1 was released overnight. If you used the git method to download the FOG installer all you need to do is change to the fogproject folder and download the latest installer by issuing a sudo git pull request then change to the bin directory and issue a sudo installfog.sh command again to rerun the installer. Your fog install will be updated to 1.5.1.
