WOL is just network communications, so what ever your network router is, is also your wol gateway. WOL is just a directed broadcast. Your vlan router must support directed broadcasts.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

Le WoL do not work on my Fog(CentOS 6.9)
I also tried that, but it does not work either :
          http://172.16.8.44/fog/management/index.php?sub=wakeEmUp&mac=98:90:96:cd:00:77

On the other hand a tool of WoL Windows works well !

          My FOG Server : 172.16.8.44/255.255.255.0
          PC to WoL : 172.16.2.10/255.255.255.0

Maybe that’s from a different subnet/vlan? Can you try from a Windows machine in the same subnet as your FOG server is, so 172.16.8.x! If that works than we can start looking into FOG being the issue.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG
