Deploying CentOs image to a new computer but system failed
Hi, team. I am trying to deploying an centOs 7 image to a new computer. And my client computer has finished the deploying process. But it went to the emergency mode. I thought Linux system could be used immediately after deploying to the client computer.

RE: After changing IP Address the client computer still gets the wrong IP
Just figure it out. I used dnsmasq and I changed its configuration file to my new ip address and my client computer could boot fog.

After changing IP Address the client computer still gets the wrong IP
Hi Team. My fog server computer just changed its IP address and I followed the article in the wiki. But when I wanna PXE boot my client computer, at the final step it still gets the wrong IP address. In the image, my fog server IP is 192.168.88.14. But TFTP is still 192.168.88.40 which is my old fog server IP. I did what it said in the wiki like changing the fogsetting file, rerun the installer and go to web UI to change the configuration.

Some function questions about fog server
Hi team. Recently I am doing with fog server with its basic functions and got some more questions about its functions.
-
When deploying images, can fog server create users for that client computer? Does fog server add or delete users through the network? Maybe not during imaging, just normal situation for users adjustment.
-
I tried the snapin functions, but I could only succeed in .msi files. And I read the article but I could not succeed in .exe files.
-
Can fog server achieve remote desktop function? Like remote controlling computers. Delete or enter files to the computers.
Thank you.

RE: About the storage for fog server in Ubuntu
@george1421 I realized that I mounted the storage-pool after the installation of fog server and the /images has some folders there before I mounted. Should I uninstall fog server to start again?

RE: About the storage for fog server in Ubuntu
@george1421 Hi, George. Right now I found that the directory /images has been created and fog server has been installed. Is there any way to fix this to use the storage pool that I created? I did not mount the volume before the installation of fog server.

RE: About the storage for fog server in Ubuntu
@george1421 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vDs7csLf08NkDHtVM_TXx--ujKXipVOc
You can see that in the root there is a fold called storage-pool

RE: About the storage for fog server in Ubuntu
@george1421 when I created the storage pool, it automatically created at the path of /storage-pool/, how could I change the path of it to the /images? just copy the fold to /images?

RE: About the storage for fog server in Ubuntu
@Sebastian-Roth Hi, Sebastian, I just created one storage pool and it is mounted in the path of /storage-pool. So right now I need to install fog server and move the storage pool to /images. Is that right? How could I move the storage? I am new about this.

RE: Cannot log into the fog server management
@Sebastian-Roth Hi, I changed the fogproject 's password. After changing it, I cannot log into the Web UI any more. I just browsed the Web UI and saw that password was not the one that could be remembered. So I changed it. I think I should not do that, right?

About the storage for fog server in Ubuntu
Hi team, I got a old machine with four hard drivers. I want to install Ubuntu and run fog server on it. And I want to use all four hard drivers for the storage. I am installing Ubuntu in one of the hard driver, and try to create a storage pool for fog server using the other three hard drivers. Do I need to create a storage pool for fog server? I mean if I did not create the storage pool, will fog server still use the other three drivers for storage? What I learned from Internet is to create a RAIDZ ZFS storage pool. I am not sure if it gonna work or not.

Cannot log into the fog server management
Hi team, I got a problem to log into the management dashboard. I was searching the fog server management, and I accidentally changed the password for the fog user. It was a password containing with some symbols and numbers and I want to change the password that I could remember, but I did not remember where to use that password, because I did not set that. After updating the password, I was imaging other computer. After finishing, there is an error saying log in incorrect. And I cannot log into the fog server management. Do I need to update some information somewhere? I tried username: fog and password. It is not working and I tried the password that I entered. Not working either.
