When I sysprep the machine to prepare an image I am selecting “Enter System Out-of-Box Experience”, checking Generalize, and selecting Shut Down. After SysPrep runs and the computer shuts down I schedule an image upload and get the image on the FOG server. When I dedploy the image I am asking FOG to name the machine and join the domain. After the image deployment completes the machine restarts but comes to the OOBE screen and waits for my input which means I have to enter a username and the computer name and then eventually rejoin the domain. Should I be sysprepping differently? Is it possible I am being impatient and not waiting long enough for FOG to do it’s job?

RE: How do I creat host file for bunch of machine and how do I deploy an image to a groupd of computers?
To create your host file you might try using your DHCP server to copy the host name and MAC address, assuming you are using DHCP. Use the host input template to properly format your host file.

RE: Multicast session flooding vlan
Any attemp to multicast on network switches that do not have IGMP Snooping will cause network flooding of broadcast packages. IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) settings should be found on your switches.

Image Creation Issue
When FOG attempts to create an image using the “image a host” task, FOG Wakes the host then runs until it gets an error stating “No Partition Found”. The host has been sys-prepped and generalized. If the host were started now it would open to the OOBE screen. Anyone have an idea why the FOG service cannot find a partition to image?

Wake On Lan Issue
My first attempt to upload an image from a host computer WakeOnLan started the host, the process ran until it looked at the host and found no disk. I then changed the image type from Single Partition NTFS to Multiple Partition Single Drive and now when I attempt to start the task, the host fails to WakeOnLan. Any suggestions why WakeOnLan suddenly stopped and which image type might be best for me to use, or why it did not recognize the drive in my host?
