I’m sorry to report that I’m not sure how to do this now. If I remember correctly, the 1.3 Fog server had an option field in the web console to set the various kernels. I can’t find anywhere in the 1.4.4 web console to change to the ipxe.kpxe kernel.

I have several ProDesk 600 G3 PCs here that are imaging just fine. They are Intel chipsets and we seems to have good luck with those (fingers crossed).
These ProBook 655s are AMD chipsets and they’ve been bad luck for me.

Thanks for the quick reply. I saw that option listed in several older posts during my search and tried it. I connected the laptop to an 8-port dumb switch connected to the switch my fog server is on and the problem persists.
I am uploading an image to Fog from an HP ProBook 655 G3 laptop using a Realtek PCIe 2.64 controller and the undionly.kpxe file reports “No configuration methods succeeded” and quits.
In the older version of Fog I was able to switch to the undionly.kkpxe and that fixed the issue but I’m having a heck of a time finding the settings for that in this version and searching the forums is bringing up information for older server versions.
I’m using the Fog server as dhcp but the dhcpd.conf file looks very different and I’m not seeing the option 67 line to edit. I’m looking in the wrong spot and could use a hint.

I believe I was able to download the updated kernel manually using the process for Ubuntu in this link:

I suppose that bypasses the issue.
As a test I recreated a fog server using a routable IP address on eth0. I did not add eth1 or any other configuration other than the network settings and I still get Error: Dwnload failed: filesize = 0 when I try to update the kernel.
Is there a manual way to do this?
I’ve set up a new fog 1.2 server on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. When I try to update the Kernel to the 4.1.2 x86_64 option using the Fog Configuration menu in the web console, I receive:
Error: Download failed: filesize = 0.
Currently, I’ve configured eth0 as 10.95.0.1 and fog runs a DHCP service on this segment.
Eth1 is set to a different network and provides internet access to the server.
I can ping various websites and Firefox opens web pages just fine from the server.

I am having the same issue as the OP above. The Perform Full Registration option never prompts me to enter the Host name but says “attempting to send inventory” and scrolls endlessly.
If I boot to the Fog PXE menu and select Client System Information (Compatibility), and then option 4) Check Fog Compatibility, the Disk passes and the Network fails.
Is this a driver issue? We’re imaging a new batch of HP ProDesk 600 G2 and ProBook 645 G1 and G2 PCs and the problem is the same across these machines.
