Yes, that is what i think also, it must’ve failed in the initial install and i didn’t catch it, then recreated successfully on the second one.

RE: Unable to PXE Boot with fog.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you guys i was doing a little trouble shooting myself, and just for giggles i decided to reinstall the fog on the Ubuntu server. It already had all the defaults in there so it went really fast. But it seems like what ever issue was occurring on Friday, have resolved with the reinstall, i was able to register my host and am uploading an image now.
Thank you all,
Sorry i didn’t really figure out the issue, but it is working now, if anyone in the future has this issue, i would definitely give it a try.Ty.

Got in this morning and tried to go to that url in my web browser and the page is “not found.” Any ideas what would be causing it?

Unable to PXE Boot with fog.
I am fairly new to this fog software, i am attempting to switch from the WDS (windows deployment services).
Background: I have Ubuntu 14.04.1 installed in vSphere, with fog 1.2.0. The install went smoothly. I am able to access the web page just fine. I have the ticks on my DHCP server set respectively double checked that (066,067). To be honest i am kind of all out of trouble shooting ideas, and i haven’t played with linux for about 3 years now, even though i used to love it, so please bare with me.Problem: I have the computer Optiplex 3020 set to boot to pxe, and the error
http://172.20.0.206/fog/service/ipxe/boot.php… no such file or directory (http://ipxe.org/2d12603b)Do i need to install iPXE on this computer in order for it to boot to fog?
This computer bios model only has PXE
Any help/suggestions would be highly appreciated, will be back Monday to check in and possibly have a solution to this issue.
Thank you!
