    • RE: Scheduled tasks dont't start

I have the same issue, not so much in what I’m trying to schedule a task to do, but task scheduling in general.

If I schedule a task, it shows in the scheduler, but it won’t execute at time I specify. I think I’ve narrowed down the problem but I’m not entirely sure how to fix it as my linux skills aren’t exactly the greatest when it comes to the CLI. I want to see if you guys can corroborate my findings. On the FOG home screen, take a look at the timestamp on your bandwidth monitor. It’s currently 8:46 in the AM and my monitor say 13:46. If I look in my host OS, the time is correct. The time is correct on my work station. The only place it’s not is in FOG itself which, I believe, why my scheduled tasks aren’t working the way they’re supposed to.

So do you guys see the same thing? If so, then what do?

      Hangs head in shame

      I found my problem…

My workstation in the server room was apparently about 10 minutes behind my server so when I was scheduling the task, it was scheduling it in the past and pretending it had already run…When I change my time, it works just fine…

      Sorry for bothering you guys…

    • Task Scheduling

      Hey everyone,

I’m fairly new to FOG and I’ve run into an issue that I’ve search and tested solutions to no avail. I installed Ubuntu 11.10 as a VM and installed fog 0.32 on it. FOG is stood up, will accept new host registration, and I’ve created a new image in the image management section, but when I schedule a task to cap the image from a host, reboot the host and pxe, it doesn’t pull the image as it should. After trying this several times, I found that the scheduled task is not showing up in the task management section even after it telling me that it’s created the task successfully. I’ve tried this in multiple browsers and that hasn’t helped, I found a thread advising to edit a certain php to remove the “&” from the $tmp markers in it which didn’t help either. Any other suggestions that I could try?
