Good evening, I’m configuring the FOG Project on several remote networks and so far it’s been a success.
I did the FOG Master in a DMZ network and in the other distinct networks I did the FOG Storage doing the replication of all the images of machines inside the FOG Storage.
The boot checks the FOG Master the PXE and after that it does the entire cloning process inside the network itself, thus avoiding bandwidth consumption and competition with other services.

RE: Problems adding storage node
@wayne-workman Would you help me?
I set up a storage node and insert it into the FOG Server server until normal, but when I go to the FOG Configuration it informs that the Node (a valid connection to the database could not be established) -
RE: Problems adding storage node
@wayne-workman
By better describing the use of the FOG where I work, I intend to have a FOG Server for 54 FOG Storage that are spread by different cities where it has machines for a distance of 750 km. This whole network is interconnected through multiple circuits and communicating with each other. -
RE: Problems adding storage node
@wayne-workman
I discovered the problem … it was in my firewall, as the FOG Server is in a DMZ network and FOG Storage is in a common machine network I had to make a rule authorizing the FOG storage to communicate with the FOG Server, after that it stopped brake. -
Problems adding storage node
Hi, I have a network of computers with 2500 devices and I’ve done FOG Server deployment on a DMZ network to centralize the media, but I’m having a problem when I create a storage node.
I make the whole process of installing the FOG Storage server without any errors, but when I add a node in the FOG Server it keeps locking my main server, where it only normalizes after I stop the Apache service on the storage node.
I would like some help on this problem and a possible solution. -
RE: Image Replication
@ty900000 se as redes tiverem comunicação uma com a outra por VPN será q a sincronização das imagens podem funcionar por rsync? estou pensando em fazer isso na implantação do FOG que estou fazendo. Semana que vem posto os resultados.
[Moderator edit]: English auto translation - If the networks have communication with each other by VPN will the synchronization of the images be able to work by rsync? I’m thinking of doing this in the implementation of the FOG I’m doing. Next week put the results.

RE: Simplest tutorials
Caso tenha dúvida nessa implantação inicial posso tentar te ajudar.[Moderator edit]: English auto translation - I’m implementing FOG in my service network where you already have SAMBA servers with dhcp and dns server … something around 52 servers spread across multiple locations.

If you have any doubts about this initial deployment, I can try to help you.
