Just a solution note for people who might have this same problem. We had to run a chkdsk /r on our image machine and reupload the image. After that everything worked perfect!

Error deploying image.
So we have been uploading and deploying several images over the last 24hours with out an issue. We found out that we needed to change our base image, so we made the appropriate changes, and re-uploaded the image. Now when we are trying to re-deploy the image it is erroring out saying “this is not a partclone image” followed by a “Failed to Restore”
Fresh install of Fog 1.2 r 4252 on ubuntu 14.04 lts
Thanks again in advance!

RE: Sysprep on Win 8.1
We are running a KMS server so the License is just the generic KMS one… That should skirt the licesing issue, correct?
Not hooked up to AD, using FOG for this, and even though we have Wifi… we like gig connection
Thanks for the reply @Wolfbane8653!

Sysprep on Win 8.1
Hey All,
Is sysprep absolutely necessary on a windows 8.1 image if it is being deployed to identical hardware?
Thanks

RE: Difficulty Imaging & More
Thanks @BigMan99211 I saw this but had no luck with any of the recommended fixes. I thought maybe a new threat would be appropriate seeing as we have different files and lines that are throwing the errors… Looks like something with PHP in the new svn though…
Are you in Spokane?

RE: Difficulty Imaging & More
Correction: Line 179 and it is in /var/www/html/fog/common/init.php

Difficulty Imaging & More
Hello All,
Long time user of fog having some new issues! Here’s the run down first:
Fog 1.20 Rev 3380 running on Ubuntu 14.04LTS
Trying to image Intel NUC with Sasmung EVO mSata SSD
We were able to build our image, upload it to fog, and deploy it to another station without a problem. Since then, when we try to deploy onto other identically built stations, we are running into an error during
“Looking for hard disks… erasing current MBR/GPT tables”
It then throws “and error has been detected” “Failed to read back partitions”
I tried to update fog to the latest revision, however when I do so, it no longer lets me into the managment page, it just gives me a blank white screen. My apache log reads an error on line 171.
Any help would be great, as I have 50 machines to deploy int he next 10 days
Thanks
Scott
