Unable to move /images on fog .32
I have a clean setup of ubuntu 11.04 running fog version .32.
I am trying to upload a windows 7 image that does not have the 100mb system partition. I have done this successfully on fog .29… but I dont want to have to go back and downgrade.
I tried selecting single partition with windows 7 as the host ID and it just switches itself back over to multiple partition which takes up way too much space. I also tried vista (this is what works in .29) that also did the same thing. Next… I tried XP and that seems to go well until the very end and I get this error that says “unable to move /images/dev/macaddress to /images/name-of-image”
now i have tried the fix listed here http://fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Images_Directory_Permissions
but that did not work either… so I’m stuck…

RE: Deploy multicast please wait
I’ve had the same issue a few years ago and not exactly sure how I fixed it but let me try and help some…
I remember it being a php or maybe sql config file that you need to go in and edit. You have to remove the password from the root account and then bam it starts working. Hopefully someone else can chime in and let you know which file it is. I will continue to look for you.

Wireless NIC disappears after imaging
Hi,
I have used fog for a few years now and never run into an issue like this before. I have an HP2560p laptop used to create an image. Whenever I deploy that image to an identical 2560p the intel wireless NIC is gone on the deployed computer… I can re-run the driver and then it shows up and works just fine.
This is on windows 7 pro 32-bit. Any help to stop this for happening is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Eric
