Hello,

I don’t know what it means, never seen that before with 1.3 or 1.2

Snapins blocked and remain in "Checked in"
Server
- FOG Version: 1.3.5
- OS: CentOs 7
Client
- Service Version: 0.11.11
- OS: W.10
Description
Hello,
I just install the last release of Fog on a new server. I was in 1.3 RC15 before (initially in 1.2) on RedHat 6.5 and prefered for much reasons to have a clean install.
No problem with install (just had to install php 7 instead of 5.xx already present in Centos), My host were well imported (automatically in the web gui, just have to approve MAC) with old client, and I recreated all my snapins to be sure for the deployment (I had some trouble with 1.3 : some snapins downloaded well but never install from /fog/tmp (svn, skype, oracle) )
But and it is why i created this post, none of the snapins are deploying and stay blocked in “Checked In” status. I also have this error in fog.log : “object reference is not set to an instance of an object”
Reset encryption data is not available on the host page so I tried create a group to have this functionality, i have it but nothing change after resetEdit :

Snapins : hash doesn't match
Server
- FOG Version: 1.3 RC10
- OS: RedHat
Client
- Service Version: V0.11.5
- OS: W10
Description
I have issues with some snapins, in fog.log i can see that hash file doesn’t match
I have to redeploy these snapins 1, 2 or more times to have them installed properly
Not all my snapins have this error
I tried recreate my snapins (delete them in the snapin list AND physically on the server), change the name of the file and reupload them but nothing changefor example :
google chrome (msi file), firefox (setup.exe), homemade.exe (just copy files in c:\temp)I change the name of multiple snapins and the hash is the same for all snapins, but in the fog.log the hash is not the same is it normal ?
As i said before, relaunching the snapin one or more time finally successAnother issue when i use the task : all snapins, task is complete (understand not present) but the soft is not deploy; perhaps too much sanpins in the same time so it blocks ? any parameter in fog settings to avoid this ?
single snapin one by one (but i have 20+ snapins to launch) generate less errors (but i still need to relaunch some snapins because of the hash)
I dont have time for the moment to understand and test the snapin pack (don’t know how it works)sorry for my approximate english

FOG 1.2 and new fog Client
Hello All,
Is the new fog client available with the Fog 1.2 ?
When I check the Client Updater on my web interface there is nothing there and nothing new too in the client management part ?
Is there another way to get the client, using .NET 4.xx will be great instead of the 2.x (wich has to be installed on W10 for making Fog client 0.9x works) ? -
RE: Task Management menu unavailable on Fog Web interface
here is the content of the log file :
[Fri Apr 01 15:08:30 2016] [error] [client 172.16.16.29] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function __toString() on a non-object in /var/www/html/fog/lib/pages/TaskManagementPage.class.php on line 419, referer: http://172.27.1.1/fog/management/index.php?node=about&sub=settings
The line 419 seems to refers to a Mac Adress ( ‘host_mac’ => $Task->getHost()->get(‘mac’)->__toString(), )
I suspect my imaging task to be the cause of the problem, which is “queued” in the dashboard page since this morning : -
Task Management menu unavailable on Fog Web interface

This is a Chrome screen but the error is present on Firefox and IE

Windows 10, FOG 1.2.0 : tests and records
Hello everyone,
my little contribution after testing Windows 10 with my fog server
I have a Fog server on v1.2.0 on a Red Hat Entreprise 6 (Santiago)
With the new hardware I had to upgrade my TFTP folder (Thanks again to Sebastian) to boot properly on PXEMy conclusions :
Install Windows 10 with a dvd mode in UEFI crash the upload :
- At the install Windows create 4 partitions :
-450MB for system (ok with that, not a news) - 96MB for another purpose
- 16MB (!!) MSR
- rest of disk free (windows, apps etc…)
Upload this image will cause fog failed to mount sda 2 (96MB or perhaps 16MB part), only the 450MB part will be upload which will cause the image unusable
Install W10 in Legacy mode for the DVD create just the 450MB part and then, upload and Download a W10 image is ok with this version of Fog,
Before uploadin I have install the Fog Client, and no error with that : downloading Snapins are ok with it (dunno the version of fog client, if someone can tell me how find it and, if necessary, upgrade it he will be welcome)
For my images i used the Windows 8.1 options when creating it in multiple partitions / single disk mode
These tests were made on HP Computers : HP Probook 450G3, HP Probook 430 G2, HP Prodesk 3405 (this old is quite old : around 3 or 4 years old)
I have to test it on Prodesk 400 G2For Dev :
I don’t know if there is a link but with 1 HP Probook 450G3 FOG detected 2 NIC, the Ethernet and the Wifi (asked me on host tab to validate the 2nd one), but not with a another 450 G3… mystery
Something strange hapenned too : I had only 1 other PC on Fog lan (I have a dedicated VLAN for my fog server, which is my DHCP Server too : Some lan ports on my switch) and it was impossible to get an IP with the ethernet connection on the notebook (wifi doesn’t count because it’s on a the “general LAN” of the company)
This problem happened just one with the same Probook which have the 2 NIC in host tabEdit : Perhaps what i said about UEFI was false, i just checked the HDD used for the upload and it seems there is a physical problem
- At the install Windows create 4 partitions :
