Seb, for your systems, I’d recommend trying the undionly.kpxe.INTEL in place of the undionly.kpxe:
mv /tftpboot/undionly.kpxe.NOWORK
wget -O /tftpboot/undionly.kpxe https://svn.code.sf.net/p/freeghost/code/packages/tftp/undionly.kpxe.INTEL

Hi, thanks but this command doesn’t work.

It’s coming back with a 404 not found with that url.

This file (https://mastacontrola.com/ipxe.kkpxe) errors out the first try, but produces the fog menu on the second try.

I will continue with the others.

Thanks again.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. I will upload some photos and then try the suggestions in the other thread.

The first photo with the 0x040ee119 is with our origional undionly file
and the second listing the clients details was with the one suggested in the first reply to this thread.

I will go ahead and try the other ones…

gateway ip

• Problems booting to HDD after PXE on Dell Latitiude E6420

Hi all,

I did a quick search on this forum but couldn’t find anything like this problem.
I have several Dell Latitude laptops set to PXE boot. Once they get to the FOG PXE boot menu and then auto-select to boot to local HDD, it just goes to a black screen and reboots and goes through that cycle over and over again. It won’t boot to HDD after it gets to PXE boot menu.
I have been using FOG on many other types of Dell products with no problems including Latitude E650 and Optiplex 3010/380/390.

Anyone come across this issue? What’s the fix (if any)?

Cheers,

Seb

• Re-Numbering Image files

Hi all,

Just like to start off with saying that I’m loving using FOG however my OCD is kind of getting the better of me.

We have created a large number of images since we have started using FOG, deleting many that were no longer in use or just test images. I will be doing a clear up of these images and starting again (so i would like my images to be neatly ordered numerically), however when we delete an image the numerical tag that corresponds with that image stays with that deleted image. So my list of images currently reads something like:

4 - “Dell Latitude E6500 - Ready to go”
9 - “General Purpose - Ready to go”

and so on…

So we currently only have around 8 images but we are up to around 25 on the numerical tag.

Sorry if my explanation isn’t quite understandable, but any help would be appreciated.
