Hi guys i know its a little late in the game to be offering help, but i have access to lots off brand new systems from oem complete builds to 3rd party efi mobos (asus, intel,msi) i would be willing to test out what ever you would to on these systems if it can help out.

I know this is an older thread, but i remembered a way of getting around this issue.

With windows 7 issues, boot to a windows 7 disk, go to command prompt and type in [I][FONT=verdana][COLOR=#323232][B]BootRec.exe /fixmbr should fix your issue has done on the last 250 levonos so far, now if i could only add this option to fog…[/B][/COLOR][/FONT][/I]

what volume am I trying to shink down? we have 3 on these guys windows, recover and a esa.

Hi all

Back again with more Toshiba problems, the 3.4 Kernel worked on some of the models but alas doesnt do anything for the A11 Keeps on getting an error with any Kernel I use

Also the 3.4 kernel works on the R series but it takes about 5 mins to start a deployment will just sit there doing nothing, then bam! will run full speed about 2.5gb a min.

Heres a pic of the error im getting with the A11’s

Laptops are running 7x64 Pro

Yep 3.3.3 is the only one i can download [url]http://www.filedropper.com/bzimage34[/url] doesnt work at all now so googling alas didnt help =/

Hi all.

We just got in about 50 of these laptops.
Problem is I can boot any of them to fog at all which is strange because i though the kernels pretty much covered most of intels NICs
But right now picking anything bar boot to HDD ends up with the system sitting there with a black screen, it doesnt even start to load anything through the kernel.

Any idea’s? I know some of this stuff is graphics card issues as i have ran in to this with nvida and ATI graphics card.

Ok so I set up Fog from scratch version .32 Im running this on a network, so i sleceted not to act as a dhcp server. I put in my address of my windows based dhcp server.
All was well. then the DHCP server scope was changed, Now i remember doing this years ago and simpley going in to etc/dhcp.config, and changing the net server ip to my new address and all was well.
problem is, i have no dhcp.config file anywhere now,
I have two flders in etc dhcp and dhcp3, none of which have anything to do with fog at all. i can still log in to the management inferace, do everthing i could, but i i connect tgo anything as my dhcp settings are now wrong and i cant find any way to change them with out reload fog totally which i honest do not want to do.
Been stuck on this all week, please can some one tell me where or how i do this. I really wanted to have this up and running for monday to start imaging.

Hi guys
I had a look around the forums but so far cant find a 100% answer for my question.
Here my problems Im bascilly getting Kernel_thread_helper error when I go to image anything system that fo far has an nvidia graphics card in it. but not all as far as i can tell from testing anything Nvidia 250 and below work like a champ, anything over this 260, 275, 280, 290, all of the 4 series, and all of the 5 and 6 series, Quadro new 600 or up will not boot with any kernel im talking all the way back from the past 2 years worth of kenrels.
Tried this on fog 0.29, 0.30, 031 and 0.32 (i have many fog systems laying around)
So my question is does anyone have an kernel that works for discert graphics cards on the nvidia side.
My school just ordered 100 odd CAD systems with Quadros in them that wont work, there is no onboard video so unless i want to image these one at a time swapping out with an old Geforce 8400 card im pretty screwed for the time being.
any help would be epic cool
