RE: nvme0n1p2 fatclone c: is not in a valid stateposted in FOG Problems
@Tom-Elliott This is what I was afraid of, the disk is GPT because that is the UEFI way it was setup. Which is which way most computers are going (All Surfaces are this way)
So where do I go from here?

RE: nvme0n1p2 fatclone c: is not in a valid stateposted in FOG Problems
@george1421 Also I have run chkdsk multiple times and it doesn’t help. Seems to be that same partition over and over. windows sucks, I don’t think they even thought about this when they designed it. In order ot get my vol license image onto a surface I have to upgrade the surface OS, I can’t just install it. So that means I have to do reg hacks and such just to be able to sysprep it. I have heard the same complaints form people who use MDT also, so its not like they are trying to squeeze people out.

RE: nvme0n1p2 fatclone c: is not in a valid stateposted in FOG Problems
@george1421 I am at the end of believing that. If you watch the boot up process it doesn’t actually uefi boot it immediately spins the dots and the logon comes on. It is hard to tell though due to the nvme drive being so fast.

@Tom-Elliott I’ll give that a try

RE: nvme0n1p2 fatclone c: is not in a valid stateposted in FOG Problems
The error right before the first picture is the fatclone error. Going to reset back to the orig image from the HDD backup I made to try and get a video of it.

FOG Server not seeing full driveposted in FOG Problems
Server not seeing the full drive. I just added more space and expanded using GPARTED. When I look at it through FOG it shows 108gb (is 160gb). When I look at it in terminal it shows 160gb.
Not real sure what the problem might be.

RE: Installing 0.9.11 Client via GPOposted in Windows Problems
@Wayne-Workman I was just heading in that direction. I need not try this on lack of sleep I don’t think straight.

RE: Installing 0.9.11 Client via GPOposted in Windows Problems
@Wayne-Workman No they work together, when you use trunk the software updates itself. But the file is not an .msi which is the problem, it is a separate .exe called FogUpdateHepler.exe that does the update. I am just gonna make a different OU and drop the clients without the FOG client in there and hope for the best. They will install fine, it is just a pain.
Where this becomes a problem if someone was to pick up a bunch of new machines and decided to make a GPO to silent install teh client it would double up the clients on all machines which already had the client and cause it to loop around like crazy. Took me a while to see it but it will bring a client to its knees which all the polling going on. But this is only due to two different clients trying to talk and getting certs all jacked up.
Just trying to work out a good way to do this via GPO rather than by scripts. But I really think I am just rambling at this point, very tired today.

RE: Installing 0.9.11 Client via GPOposted in Windows Problems
Update: I see a FOGUpdateHelper.exe
When you launch that it updates the file. So I am not sure how to handle existing clients and installing to new client in one GPO if it is using a separate .exe to upgrade itself? Is there an .msi that is 0.9.11 that is one file?
