    • new model XPS 13 7390 10th gen bios 1.5. can't capture image

      hi all!
We have acquired the new model dell xps 13 "7390, we modified the bios, AHCI disk, this by default UEFI mode we can register the equipment in FOG ver.1.5.4 but when we want to capture it indicates that it is not registered, but yes it is.

Do you know what it can be? or what do I have to change in bios? With the rest of the xps models FOG server works perfectly.

      have you encountered this problem?

    • RE: HOW TO CONFIGURE FOG SERVER TO BOOT WITH USB C

@Sebastian-Roth I can boot with USB C (dodocool).
I’ve only had to update the kernel to the latest version and touch the bios parameter
The model was XPS dell, and already solved! thanks!!

    • SERVER FOG STORAGE FAILS WHEN ADDING AN NFS UNIT

      I have a structure of:

      FOG server master + server01Storage 100GB + server02Storage 10GB System + (NFS disk drive 100Gb storage "/images)

with the server01 storage there is no problem, but in the storage2 that has the “/images” folder in a NFS 172.30.0.4 /images unit I have the following error all the time.

reason: mount : mounting 172.30.0.3/images/dev on /images failed: Permission denied
      nov 09 11:18:13 fogstor01 rpc.mountd[20650]: authenticated mount request from 172.30.0.122:830 for /images/dev (/images/dev)
      nov 09 11:18:13 fogstor01 rpc.mountd[20650]: Cannot export /images/dev, possibly unsupported filesystem or fsid= required

    • Great structure with FOG Server

It is possible to assemble a structure of 1 master server plus 5 storage servers, located in different offices and cities and to manage where the images are stored.
For example, if I have an office in Barcelona and Madrid, which will have their own storage, when I connect to the master server and create the image.
Will it be stored in the storage of the office itself? Can you select the storage where to save the image?
      Thank you
