Hi all I have had my fog server running well for a couple of years. Today on a test machine I enabled the windows firewall. The fog server can no longer ping the client. I have created a firewall rule to allow ping and can ping the client from another workstation.
If I turn the firewall of back to working again. Anyone know what other rules / ports I need to allow.

Sorted this now, I used CloneZilla pxe to upload an image to each machine, once the initial image is deployed, fog will continue to image correctly.
So it looks like the problem is with the boot loader.

We have a dual boot system XP, first then Ubuntu. I have set the OS as Linux (50) and the image as a single drive etc and taken the image.
When it deploys I receive the following “[B]grub rescue no such partition[/B]” I have tried mounting the live CD ad restoring the grub loader this doesn’t seem to work either. If I boot with an XP disk, and run FixMBr I get the windows back any suggestions please?
Hi, the issue with tasks is well documented, you can access your tasks if you add PHPMyAdmin to your web server then open the fog database and edit the ‘[SIZE=14px][FONT=Verdan][COLOR=#008000]scheduledTasks’ [/COLOR][/FONT][/SIZE] table. Be careful when installing phpmyadmin as it needs a password for root access setting one will break fog, until you edit the relevant files again this is also documented.

The problem came when I had to add a MySQL password, once the root password was set back to blank the scheduled tasks started working once more.

[COLOR=#141414][FONT=Tahoma]I have an issue with Schedule Tasks and Wake on LAN (WOL). On its own the WOL works without issue. I can WOL all my PC’s at once if necessary. If I try and Schedual this for 8 am using 20 8 * * 1-5 it does not run.[/FONT][/COLOR]
